May 3rd, 2003-Scout-O-Rama brought our annual shelter out of storage to set up and diplay our scout lashing and knot skills. On the tower, there were over 50 lashings; square, diagonal, and round. Ropes were cut to length and whipped to give the tower a clean appearance. This was the sturdiest tower yet by far. Troop 77 was awarded $100scout cash for second best effort.

May 5th, 2003-Troop 77 planned a workday at Camp McLoughlin. Two large windstorms over the winter felled some huge trees, one narrowly missing the waterfront docks. Everyone worked very hard and got the job done. Ranger Ted was happy to have the help. Nice job on the hard work guys!

Once again Troop 77 put together a float for the annual Boatnik parade. Russ Gallup of Oregon/California Supply graciously pulled the float for us on one of his trailers. The float and two of our scouts made it onto the front page of the Daily courier! Thanks Russ! Nice job to all scouts who helped out!
Camporee was held yet another time at the Sportsmans Park, being based on shooting sports. All patrols had excellent teamwork. Our Patrols didn't have the greatest aim, but when it came to the only scouting skill on the course (First Aid), Eagles showed everyone how it was done. Nice job Troop 77!
All I heard about the Yosemite trip was good things. What a beautiful area to be in for a week! As far as I know this is the farthest trip the troop has ever taken, and what a succes it was. Check out these awesome pictures!
